Basij, An Anti-Iranian Fromation Within Iranians

The question many have about the Basij, Is Basij a part of the Islamic Republic or its just a militia and the answer is: Yes, Basij is an Islamic Republic official unit and has authorities as much as other units plus an advantage that they are protended to be non-official and not a part of the government so the neither the regime nor the Basig wil be questioned about the Basij's actions. Basij is funded driectly from the Khamenei's Bank account which is 25% of all taxpayers money and Oil, Duties and income from other nathional resources combined.
Basij was established as forces made up of mainly young teenagers recruited from the musques, schools and religious centers to design an army exlusiveley to protect the ionterest of the Islamic republic leaders and the clerics against any national or foreign enemies. Over 75% of the ones employed in any position in the Islamic Iran, started from the Basij and through Basiji they got trained, educated and finaced (they have 100% approval for financial aid paying 100% of their tuition fees) for their careers. Organizations such as Ansar Hizbullah and Sepah Pasdaran are made of almost 100% Basiji background emploees. They take orders directly from Khameni, his son or other proxies of him. Regime has beed feeding the Basij for the past decade for times like the recent protests to unlish them against Iranians.
Basij is the most active Islamic Republic unit protended as a militia in charged of most of regime's dirty works inside and sometime even outside of Iran.
the word "Basij" in Persian language means mass mobilization . The word is common to be used when a war or activism recruitments is picking recruiters and send them to battlefields.
Basij was fromed during the Iran-Iraq wars, supervised by Khomeini as the suppreme leader and was mainly made of young (some as young as 12 years old) brain washed in the musques, many of ran away from home, receive an honorary plastic key to hang on their necks called "key to the heavens" in order to be martyred and bang fine thight virgins by the dozen. Iran was short on ammunition and after spending billions to buy weapons, most of that money was either rubbed or the purchaed load either miss-managed or dumped to save a trip (my uncle was a soldier at the time and he was telling me secret stories of dumping of truckloads of ammunitions in the rivers and barry them so they don't risk the truckers lives, while waves of thousands where being mass murdered because of not having any weapons at all)f or The trick was to send human waves (most only holding a garnade) into battle fields filled with tanks and heavily armed troops and get the enemy busy killing the wave while attacking from the sides w/ tanks and canons or make the Iraqi's morally so guilty of killing so many innocent teenege mostly under 17 lives and psychologically unable to the point many of the Iraqi's (specially the Shi'it ones) gave up their weapons and surrondered.
Most those Basiji's from back then are holding most top positions in Iran's regime and the justify anything they do, steal or commit bacuse they say Iran couldn't defeat Iraqi's without them. (not true, There was a draft and Almost any adult over tha age of 17 fought that war, regardlesss of being basiji or not)
After the war was over, Basiji's started to from other organizations or get top government postions, (eg, Sepah Pasdaran, Amre-be-arouf, etc almost 100% Basiji made.
The new generation of Basij is made of three different types of individuals: 1, Kids from the poor, rural and un-educated families 2, Gangsters and thougs looking for a way to have access to top CC Motorcycles and coppers banned to be used by the public, all kinds of guns and finally 3, the ones who just follow in order to receive benefits, tuition assistance, employment advantages, political and social connections, etc.

As the older basiji's take top governemnt jobs, the new ones are being recruited from the schools, musques, streets, etc and sent to training. In Iran where optaining a gun license (even a hunting shot-gun) is impossible and cases there is death penalty or serious imprsonment for a holding a gun, basijis could hold and carry any type of weapon they want.
Most of them joined as highschool students, take a boot camp, a military style full scale training and access to the most lethal weapons in the world all founded and supply by the Iranian government.
By protending to be a militia and not an official unit of the governement, they carry regimes anti-civilian missions rootlessly.

The way they are brainwashed, they hate any single Iranian who is not a Basiji, I've seen twin brothers hating one another to death because one is a basiji and another isn't.
Specially that basij's recruitment units are less successful in more developed, upperclass, more educated and even urban areas than the poor rural, remote and undeveloped less educated areas of Iran. Becoming a basiji makes saves their future and gives them a chance to have a piece of multi-billion dollar regimes cake. Since 99% of basiji's are from families of very poor and uin-educated and at the same time a background that can not understand, sence and enjoy westernized culture almost anyone else other then the government members enjoys practicing, its a part of their nature to hate anyone from more open minded famillies, more westernized communities, etc.
What makes them " DANGEROUS" the most is not they hate western and non-islamic traditional lifestyle, the opposite, the "ENVY" and "JEALUSY" that comes with not being able to understand, digest or feeling of being unable to adabt that as a new way of liveing, because that means leaving their calss and type of people, the society where their come from and join the ones known to be bad and evil for their entire life.

The hate originated from jealousy and envy combined with fatanic religious and ayatollah teachings thought in the mosque, the 100% authority of using lethal weapons against the citizens when ever there is a sort of excuse to protect either Islam or the Islamic Republic makes their position more attractive to quit, at leaset they could revenge from the society that won't accept them as modern as the rest.Continue)
I assume, Mousavi and many other regime supporters want regime change, too. Maybe he is keeping it a secret and that's the only way to stay alive and free while opposing and leading the opposition
As a matter of fact, Mousavi is not leading people at all !!!! People created mousavi and are leading him, he is a follower of the peope

Iranians anger baloone from 30 years of IR regime was bubbled up growing, Khatami released some pressure as much as regime could afford. Ahmadinejad's 1st term, trippled the size of the bubble to the point it was ready to be burst, Mousavi wasn't the type of characters they would evr allow to become a president, specially after seeing how he was getting emotional by people's support, no way.

So, when he lost the election, many who even didn't vote for him took advantage of the situation and you knw the rest
Also Iranian people are very secretive, they chant Iranian Repuublic, call for separation of religion from government and then some suggest they want reform not regime change
Come on, use your brain, a democratic / Republic regime, is not Islamic Republic, once you take out Islam from IR, what you need is a whole new political system, all IR institutions must be eleminated and replaced. W/ new gov w/its own coconstitution,al laws, etc

IRGC & Basij for example, the backbones of the regime, will not have any use in a democratic system, because one was created to protect Khomein & co (IRGC) and another to recruit hight school students to carry suicide missions and other services during the Iran-Iraq war (Basij)

Basij has been pain in the ass of Iranians since the endo of the war actually, they've done nothing but harrasing people there
I left Iran as a teen in the late 90's, remember just because of dressing up stylish hollywood style as they used to call it, have long style hair and being a player, I used to gett arrested, beaten up. By the basij and IRGC based forces (Komiteh, Yegan Vijeh, amre-be-maroof, etc) or harrassed on weakly bases, most of my friends the same. In return, we had to organize our gangs to beat up basijies ;) I was harasses many times by the basijies, but new how to get a way w/them most of the time, since I knew many of their names, all I had to do was to lie to be causin of one of their top thougs or talk their own language (like Mousavi is doing) no logics or human language would work on them, very hardheade, only using Islamic terms, refering to Ali, Khomein and other crap they belong to would signal on their num brains
I used to know a few of them before & after they became basijies.
The brainwashing is to powerful to go away so easily. The guys I used to sell russian vodka to, 2 months after joining the Basij, wouldn'd drink and even wouldn't listen to Persian music anymore. Basijies become ZOMBIES, don't even know their own brothers anymore.
One example was 2 identical twin brother we grew up in the same neighborhood, one was sharper, more intelligent and social, the other one shy & slower, before one brother (the shy) joining the basij for educational advantages, their own mother used to be mistaken how similar in look, bhavior and even the way they talked, I didn't see them for few months, one day saw the cool brother who didn't join the basij sitting on their door steps, when he saw me he geated me and we set talking, he was lucky to have highe scoress and accepted to university easily, his brother decided to take shortcut & joined the basij (guaranteed acceptance) and he was so ashamed to tel me that, I asked him were he was and he said he was in the Musque, I said what??!! It was a shock, because it's very rare to see the post revolution generations going to Musque during normal days, most iranians would never or only few times a year go to musques, it's like a dihouner to go to musque for most city kids
Anyway, while we were talking, the brother returned, he was a totally different animal, wearinf a long plain shirt hanging on his basiji style pants, basiji style hair, unshaved face looking at his twin brother & responding to him as he was a strainger or a sort of racist looking at a diff race.
The brother said, "I kept telling the asshole, don't join the shit, but he was hard headed and did, my old father had heart attack a few times seeing his ass like this"
Another members was a kid in during class in my 9tj grade, he was a nerd and shy type of kid
There are the other half of Basijis, thougs and drug dealers (mainly the low class gangsters in persian slang called JAVAD, LAAT, LOKHTI, etc), these guys are normally from poorer and un-educated families and there is the same hate caused by envy in them as well . These guys are former neighborhood gangs and knife fighting, beating up people is not only a part of their cultur, but a hobby to them.
and a small percentage from normal, average to upper class iranian families who join just to have access to the resources and education advantages are the ones who'd care about their fellow citizens or even join and assist them if they see that page is flipping .
My argument is that if a government gives so much authority, protection and fire power to a group, they should be recognized as a part of the government.
Even with such advantages a rare number of the middle and upper class Iran would join Basij (Joining is very simple, just be a muslim and you are free to join), they are also very isulated people in the society, even their own familly members don't trust them after their membership.
Specially with their 1/3 thoug, 1/3 religious/Arabian and 1/3 military dress code that makes them look very different than any other ember of the society.
Now, you see them unleashed in the streets of Iran attacking people with what ever they have available because all their actions are justified and even prised by the regime. Regimes strategy to keeep things under controll has always been FEAR tactic, and what could be more dangerous than a bunch of unleashed wild animals.
